Our history of development

1992

Kharkov accumulator factory “Vladar” was established in Ukraine. Manufacture of starter storage batteries as the basic production of the enterprise is mastered.

1995

We started our cooperation with railway enterprises. By the order of “Ukrzaliznytsya” (Ukrainian Railways), the company launched the production of special auto-locking batteries ABN-72.

1996

The factory “VLADAR” began serial production of storage batteries 3ТН-450 and 4ТН-450. The customer was Ukrzaliznytsia.

1999

Together with the Odessa Research Institute of Communications, on the order of Ukrtelecom, stationary batteries of the SN series were developed and introduced into series production.

1999

In spring, the first line for assembling 3MT-8, 3MTS-18 and 6MTS-9 batteries for motorcycles and scooters was launched.

2000

In January, the production of diesel locomotive batteries type 2TN-450-U2 in a polypropylene monoblock was launched.

2001

By order of “Ukrzaliznytsya” the plant mastered the production of batteries ABN-80. As a result of the application of new developments, the battery life is extended to 5 years.

Quality of all products of the factory “Vladar” is confirmed by quality certificates ISO-9002, UkrSEPRO and RosStandard.

2002

VLADAR was the first in Ukraine who start producing lead-calcium batteries “Vladar Calcium Plus” using its own original developments in this direction.

2002

In August, the plant jointly with other major national manufacturers of storage batteries acted as the founder of the established Ukrainian Association of manufacturers of chemical sources of current “HIT Ukraine”.

2003

The first generation of “VLADAR-INTELLECT” batteries with a unique digital sensor for measuring the main battery indicators was launched in series production in the spring of 2003.

2003

At the same time, “Vladar” starts to produce batteries 55ТН-150-У2, intended for starting engines of diesel locomotives ChME3. These batteries have become a worthy alternative to the alkaline batteries used previously. For the first time in batteries of this type, in the manufacture of electrodes, the “Calcium Plus” technology was used.

08.2003

In August 2003, the development of the plant, especially Vladar-Intellect, was highly appreciated by foreign specialists at the VI Moscow International Motor Show (MIMS).

2003

Since the second half of 2003, the production of VRLA batteries with absorbed electrolyte (AGM technology) for uninterruptible power supplies has been mastered.
Also the assortment of the plant’s products was replenished with new batteries of the MTS type for motorcycles and motor scooters-6MTS-4 and 6MTS-5.

2003

In the second half of 2003, the Vladar plant launched the second generation of VLADAR-Intellect batteries with a new, more economical liquid crystal (LCD) display.

2004

A certificate of compliance with the requirements of the international quality system ISO 9001: 2000, ISD. The terms of validity of certificates of quality systems UkrSEPRO and Rosstandart have been confirmed and extended.

2004

Continuing the development for the order of railway enterprises, our company successfully mastered the production of batteries for shunting diesel locomotives of the ChME3 family using the “Silver-technology”.

2005

In 2005, the range of sealed VRLA batteries was expanded. Production of a series of universal batteries “Vladar GEL” for industrial use with electrolyte immobilized in the form of a gel started.

2005

At the 14th International Specialized Exhibition “Autonomous Power Sources – 2005” among 57 representatives of the world battery industry, the Vladar plant entered the top five.

2005

The motorcycle batteries of the “Vladar-MOTO” series of the new generation have been launched. “Vladar” received an honorary diploma of the Moscow International Motorshop-2005.

2006

LT 06 180 G traction batteries with gel electrolyte for powering electric motors of floor-mounted electrified transport vehicles have been put into serial production.

2006

The production of universal sealed batteries for railway transport has begun: L 04 300 G for passenger cars and L 08 150 G for locomotive locomotives of the ChME3 type.

2007

A number of hermetic accumulators of stationary type with gel electrolyte are created. The new LS series is designed as an alternative to the outdated series of batteries type SK and SN.

2008

The serial production of LT traction batteries for electric forklifts, stackers, reach trucks and other types of equipment was mastered.

2008

Widar batteries with gel electrolyte are widely recognized. During the year, 110 sets of such batteries were installed on the passenger cars of Ukrzaliznytsia.

2009

UkrNIIRT recognized the non-serviced batteries “Vladar” LS series suitable for use in communication facilities.

2009

In May 2009, the partnership between the Vladar plant and Ukrtelecom OJSC was 10 years old.

New models of traction batteries have been launched: LT540 and LT630 for loading equipment with increased load capacity.

In the framework of cooperation with “Ukrzaliznytsya”, began the delivery of unattended carload batteries L 02 370 G for installation on rail buses of type 620M.

Kharkov Battery Plant has successfully passed the certification of the quality management system according to DSTU ISO-9001: 2009

2009

New certificates of conformity have been obtained for all types of plant products, both for the UkrSEPRO system and for the State Standard of Russia (RosStandart).

2009

Kharkov accumulator factory “Vladar” has started the delivery of diesel batteries to the Republic of Cuba.

2010

Kharkov accumulator factory “Vladar” produced and shipped the two-hundred traction battery of the LT series.

2010

The serial production of automated charging-discharge devices AZRU-2M was started.

2011

The model range of chargers is expanded. The new device PZR-2M has expanded functionality and lightweight construction.

2011

“VLADAR” started production of PzS traction batteries with tubular type electrodes.

2012

The well-proven VLADAR PzS technology has received a new embodiment in stationary batteries of the tubular type VLADAR OPzS.
